Hello,
My name is Igor Istratii and I'm from Romania, white belt in bjj.
I watched your video regarding IBJJF rules, and I do have some questions:
Does knee on the belly obligatorily has to start from side control? If I managed to knee on the belly after passing close guard, but before side control stabilization, do I get my 2 points? The actions are like passing the close guard -> knee on the belly -> side control stabilization.
And I would like your opinion about a fight I recently had. If I send video to you, could you please referee it?

Hello Igor, thanks for contacting me, here it goes:
- If you pass the guard and put knee on belly before stabilizing side control you will be award first the 3 points from passing and right after the 2 points for knee on the belly. It doesnt matter that you did not stabilished side control before.

It's a tricky thing my situation, I can't understand it completely and it's kinda annoying for me, because i don't wanna do the same the same mistake next time. Hope that after what you'll see the video, you will be able to explain it to me better.

at 1'25''you (WHITE) would get an advantage for almost passing. (your knee was touching his belly, but you had not completly clear his legs, his left leg was still on the way)
1'45''White would get another advantage for conquering the top half guard
2'50''another advantage WHITE for the ezekiel atempt
4'04''another advantage WHITe for conquering half top again
So in the end, you (WHITE) would win by 4 adv x 0

I knew I should win this match, but in reality I lost it by 2 penalizations, he got 1 adv, and I was like "wtf"?
Even though I didn't really fight in this match, because he was my friend and training partner, it was clearly for me that I should have win the match.
