Ambiente agradável, onde os iniciantes recebem muita atenção. Outra peculiaridade é a quantidade de estrangeiros que visitam a academia durante todo ano, em busca da qualidade técnica da academia fundada por Felipe Costa. 

As aulas são super convenientes, estão abertas 6 dias por semana e incluem boxe e muay thai em sua programação diária, a um preço muito bom que inclui a opção de fazer todas as atividades.

In Ipanema, you will find Fernando Terere academy owned and operated by  World Champion legend Fernando Terere and also home to Terere Kids Project. Ipanema is also home to Brazilian Black Belt Jiu-Jitsu, created by another legend Felipe Costa (who was the first and only Black Belt World Champion to conquer that title without ever getting IBJJF gold on colored belts) and known for its international student base and lightweight ONLY training sessions.

A highly under advertised gym that has a little bit of everything that you need, including showers, something not so common in other martial arts academy,  and a lot of staff members that speak English which makes dropping in easy.
 
Classes are super convenient, they’re open 6 days a week and include boxing and Muay Thai in their daily schedule, at a very good price that includes the option to take all activities.

Academy Fernando Terere is located in Ipanema only 4 blocks away from the beach! To get there you head down Farme de Almoeda until it dead ends and then take a right onto Alberto de Campos. The academy is hidden on the left-hand side all the way at the end of the street. You won’t see it until you get to the end.
Classes are taught by Fernando Terere and his cousins, Fabricio da Silva and Julio Nogueira. They welcome drop-ins and have different rates for visitors that will be spending a few weeks or months training in Rio.
