We were elected the best academy for foreigners in Rio, by the visitors themselves.

We get together every day to help people improve and enjoy themselves while forgetting about their daily problems. At our academy, we not only offer training classes of Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai or Box, we offer a place where you can meet new people and spend quality time in a friendly environment. In other words, we offer our members the chance to train with family! Because that is what we build every day, a big happy family!

Why training with us?

The Brazilian Black Belt Academy was found by Felipe Costa. If the name does not ring any bells….then perhaps the fact that he is a two-time Jiu Jitsu World Champion and a highly qualified teacher with great human skills and a well-known online training programs might do the deal!

Furthermore, Felipe is backed up by a group of experienced and highly trained teachers of all specialties (Muay Thai, Box, Kick Boxing, Judo and Jiu Jitsu) with reliable backgrounds and excellent teaching techniques that adapt to any type of student, so it doesn’t matter how old you are or how serious you want to take your training, your teacher will always be there for you! 

Hours

We offer a wide range of hours for every activity we have here at our academy, starting off on Monday morning 7 am when we meet to begin the week with BJJ classes. Then we continue the early work out with some boxing classes until midday. In the afternoon, we start classes from 4 pm onwards until 10 pm at night… and the best news is that you can pay one fee to enter all classes!
